Hi, I am new here. I've struggled with anxiety and depression since I was about ten years old. I'm now in my late twenties and take Zoloft. Before that I was on Paxil for years. Earlier this month I decided to get an apartment with one of my best friends. We found a place, I started packing, and we were supposed to sign the lease tonight. Suddenly, a few days ago, I started having severe anxiety and depression and I called my friend and said I can't sign the lease. She said some very nasty things and I think I've lost her as a friend.
I've been out of work all week and I have barely been able to leave my couch. I just don't know what to do and I feel like this is never going to get better. Someone please tell me that I'm not a terrible person and I'm not going to die or end up in a mental institution.
