Back to prozac

I had a great 15 year run with Prozac and Kloniin for Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia and Depression. Then one day it just stopped working. That was 3 years ago. I just finished a grueling 8 month weaning off Effexor and now I'm coming off Remeron (useless) and going to give Prozac another chance.

Anyone had a med stop working and then retried later and had a good result again?

I was on prozac from 1992 until 2010. I thought I might benefit more from a newer ssri so tried zoloft, celexa and lexapro but each had some side effects that prozac didn't(for me anyway) so I went back on it and am doing better. You might have needed a dose increase but sometimes we're doing better than we think.........I think. Anyway it took more time but I'm better on prozac(20mg) then any of the others w/o any side effects apart from increased anxiety a few weeks after restarting. Some valium fixed that and I just continued on the prozac until I settled back down and am doing better. I guess don't change anything unless there is a definite reason. Alankay
