I have a high pressure job working in the media. One of the aspects of my job is that I have to be in constant contact with my employer in case something goes wrong. I check my email constantly if it's during the work week. And on weekends I check it four or five times a day. It feels like I never get any relief from it. I love my job, and the high pressure part is fine. But I need to find a way to shut off for a couple of days. I can't remember the last time I took time off, I think it was about a year ago.

What are you strategies for coming down at the end of the week and staying off?

I am an Exec with a very large technology company in Silicon Valley. My boss sits in Japan. I have calls at all hours and get close to 200 emails a day. I have not solved the problem either. I'm in my mid 50's and burning out. This is a big part of my issues. I exercise when I can which helps.
