Lately I've noticed after I've had a meal it brings panic attacks on. I'm now too afraid to eat a meal. :(

I know exactly how you feel, one of my symptoms of anxiety was that i felt like i wasnt able to swallow and i stopped eating for a long time. I was afraid everytime i went to eat food and when i did, it took me a long time and i panicked whenever food got stuck in my throat. Luckily, this symptom has left me alone since I have been preoocupied by another fear, calm down before you go to eat and realize that there is no real danger :)

I know what you mean. I've lost 18lbs in a year from anxiety. Might not sound a lot, but I'm 110lbs now & so many of my clothes are baggy. Plus, I miss food!

Hey girl I am exactly in the same boat as you. I have a fear of throwing up so eating is a hassle for me. I'm 22 5'6 100 lbs. the heaviest ive ever been was 104 lbs. I love food and I do eat, I try and eat 5 small meals a day because it also boosts your metabolism. Im really cautious about what I eat but it's not as bad as before, I'll get scared for like a month or two and then slowly open my horizons and just enjoy eating. Take it easy girlie, start slow and honestly drink smoothies, full of nutrients and it's light on the stomach!

I'm glad I'm not the only one ! I like the smoothie idea. Just need to get a bender
Is there certain foods that brings it on ? For me I think it's carbs.

Does anyone ever get episodes where their worry and anxiety is so bad that you have a nervous pit in your stomach and you can't eat at all?? Then I'm afraid to eat cause I might throw up! Hate this :(

Yup I can agree with you. I hate throwing up and when I get nervous I don't eat what so ever. It sucs.

Yeah it does suck .. I haven't been able to really eat the past 3 days because of constant worry!

hey same here i am so i used to weight 185 but i am 21 6'4 , in one month i lost like 15 pounds cause my metabolism is super fast , after i went all the way down to 155 thats no healthy at all for my height , i try to eat 4 to 5 meals a day ,but small ones and i have gain some weight back , but is really hard for me sometimess.

hey, im wondering if you have found anything to help you during these times. Ive been dealing with this same problem for a while now and im sick and tired of it but i dont know what to do. Its hard especially cause I'm trying to gain weight, it just gets in the way of so many things in my life

I have this same issue right now! I can't eat anything solid, so only soups, smoothies, pudding, yogurt, etc. I feel like there is a lump in my throat and I am scared I am going to choke on food or my throat is going to close up. It's really depressing and uncomfortable.

I honestly been having a liquid diet. I recently found out that my bf has been cheating on me. I am devastated and obviously I stopped eating. Nothing seems good to me but I'm always buying smoothies and I just drink those. I use to eat 5 small meals a day which is health for you but I just cant right now. So as my advice start eating small meals like bread with peanut butter, lots and lots of fruits, nuts are a great way to make you full and they have good fats. Eat lean meat with rice and mixed veggies. Honestly just keep smacking whenever yoot hungry don't wait till its meal time. There has to be a reason why yoot not eating, like my example is my ex bf cheated on me and I have a fear of throwing up so that's what causes me to be cautious of what I eat.
