Acid Reflux

I have such chest pain and I feel like I have food stuck in my throat, I supposedly have acid reflux but cause of my anxiety it's freaking me out and I'm thinking there's something seriously wrong, has anybody had acid reflux due to their anxiety? Any advice? :(

Yes!!! And my anxiety makes it sooooooo much worse!!!!!

I've been dealing with this for years. Sometimes it has made me have to leave a social situation and vomit in a restaurant bathroom. It's so embarrassing. The more it has happened to me over the past couple of years the more it has become normal so I almost expect it to happen and makes my social life a living nightmare anytime people have invited me out.

I haven't really found any cure other than going running the during the day if I know I'm getting into a social situation that might trigger it. The physical activity gets rid of toxins , creates dopamine in the brain, and makes you burn energy stored in your body do it will be easier to eat later

I take Prilosec for mine and it keeps it at bay

I take pirlosec also, is the chest pain normal?

I took previcid 24 hr for 14 days says to stop after 14 days and today came back I can't see the doctor till the 21st frekin out my gerd has gotten worse :( anxiety jus confuses me even more thinking of the worst

I get chest pain and burning feeling in my back i would say normal for acid reflux

I've been on prilosec for 3 months and had no reflux or heartburn the entire time. I stopped taking it and within 3 days, I'm back to having reflux and heartburn almost every day.

That's how I was I took it and was feeling better so I stoped...few days after I stopped it came right back!!! Thank you everybody for replying you all helped!!!
