need answers PLEASE

having major depression and panic attacks, was pput on several anti depressants but had side effects . Now they put me on paxil low dose with lithium 300 mg twice a day...I am concerned what lithium does to my body or brain...anyone else on it? I am just sccared

Take your meds as prescribed, it usually takes a month or so for you to feel a change. Side effect are common but they can't be worse than your depression and panic attacks. Stay strong and positive everything is going to be fine. :)

Indeed, give it a very long go on the meds you have to see if they even you out. Sometimes the meds won't work though, through out my life I've gone through 7 different kinds of medications before I found one that works for me (and I still have quite a bit of anxiety).

Finding a medication and letting yourself go of anxiety is an on-going process.

Your Dr will keep a close eye on your lithium levels to be sure that they are fine.
