prozac or zoloft for gad

Im currently on 20mg of paxil. About 4 months now. It was working in the beginning but i had some suicidal thoughts and anxiety for the past month on it. Also gained about 15lbs on it. Im doing ok right now but what wondering if i should ask my therapist if i should change meds. If so whats better for gad prozac or zoloft?

I hear Prozac is worse than zoloft. Although, I'm currently on zoloft now and although its helped tremendously with my anxiety and racing mind, I don't want to get out of bed in the morn, and it's takes a lot out of me to leave the house without my boyfriend. Pros and cons to everything but Ive been a zombie for the past few days... Emotionless. If you go for zoloft, I would recommend upping the dosage slowly... I upped in once a month and I think it was too soon. Good luck and just remember, be pre-cautious.. Everyone works differently with different medications.
