View Full Version : Does anyone believe you can grow out of anxiety?

I feel like I'm a really good place at the moment my anxiety was intense for two weeks but ever since been very mild I believe that I hopefully will grow out of it sounds stupid I'm only 17 so I see it as a minor blip what's everyone's thought will it never go Away as I feel I'm getting more and more normal each day

I don't think "grow out of" are the right words, but I definitely think it can be cured.
People suffer it at all ages, it's just learning how to overcome it that's the hard part.
It runs in my family, but my mum & uncle have both overcome it. They've gone well over 20 years each without symptoms or attacks.
It's different for everyone, but I do think that we will all get better.

Yup I don't think you grow out of it either, plus it depends on the effort you put into your recovery

I guess there are always things/people make us upset, it really is up to us how we want to see it.

Yeah you need to learn how to accept it and not obsess about it. And I think the older you get you will learn how to deal with it.
