Hi,

So I literally just took my first Paxil and I have to say I'm really freaked out about it. I am honestly terrified of taking medication and even though it is prescribed I'm terrified something bad will happen to me. A little reassurance would help right now.

I did take it before. You will start feeling differences (nothing unexpected) in a week or so. I thought it was beneficial. No weird symptoms at all on my side (or anyone I've spoken to). You won't even notice it.

Doc prescribed me Paxil and I'm yet to take it. I just can't be satisfied with all these symptoms being anxiety. I don't get anxious until I have these strange feelings so I'm still not convinced its just anxiety and not some underlying cause.

Wake, if you are afraid to take Paxil, talk with your doctor about how you feel about taking this drug. I'd recommend asking him/her about weighing the potential costs and benefits of you taking this drug. If your doctor doesn't give you enough honest information, consider going to a doctor who will. After all, you have the right to know.

Is not necessarily the Paxil it's meds in general. The strange unexplainable symptoms that I just can't accept as anxiety alone.
