Dont understand

So I am a hypochondriac and I just went to the Doctor yesterday for my heart because lately it has been skipping beats about 8 to 9 times a day. They did an EKG and everything came back fine but I can't help but think that there is still something wrong. I still feel like there is a problem even tho the doctor said that I was perfectly fine. Being a hypochondriac sucks.

I'm sure your doctor is right if she says your heart is ok. It's not in her best interest to misdiagnose you. Then you sue her, her insurance goes up, she gets a bad reputation as a doctor, etc. I think your heart is ok. Are you taking any medication for anxiety?

Heart palpations are normal, they can be caused by several non life threatening issues, like gas, my mom has a healthy heart & hers is always skipping several times a day. Its just how the heart is, you're probably focused on it & thats why you notice it so much.

Mine does that everyday for the last 6 mths. It skips every two beat for hours sometimes. I have been to a heart doctor and everything is fine. It's very disturbing. Mine is skipping now and will for hours at a time:(
