Hi all :) I'm new, I'm a 23 year old wife and mother whose life has been turned upside down. All this anxiety/panic has not even been going on for a year for me yet. I've been in and out of the hospital getting my heart checked and not being able to breath. Then I was told about it being anxiety bc nothing was wrong with my heart. Now I go to a therapist and a nurse practitioner and I am currently on my 3rd day of taking Prozac. I was also given Ativan but I didn't even fill that prescription bc I refuse to take something like that. So now I'm just hoping to get my life back.

It hasn't even been a year yet. And I've only had panic attacks about 3 times within the last month or two. My therapist says my environment won't be changing for a while so they think the Meds will help for now. I'm married with a 2year old stuck living with my parents so I can pay off debt. It's not ideal but I can't afford living on my own rigt now and it's putting a big strain on everything

Hey, ens, and welcome! I'm glad you found us. It sounds like you've got a lot on your plate. Good for you for taking care of your little one and paying off debts! That's amazing! If there's anything I've learned on here, it's that family can make you crazy. Maybe they don't mean to, but they have ways of pushing buttons that strangers can't do. I'm glad that you went to the doctor to get checked out. Therapy is hard work, but can be very rewarding. Good luck!

Welcome! Debt alone can give you anxiety not to mention living with your parents no matter how much you live them. In my case I'd rather live with them then not be able to pay bills. Then my anxiety would be worse. I would be freaking out about providing good and shelter for my kids. I think your doing the right thing. Hang in there. Maybe everything with time will smooth out for you. Best of luck!
