Diea anyone use pregabolin

Hi. Pregabalin is brand-named Lyrica and is often used for fibromyalgia/chronic pain sypmtoms. It's an interesting drug. I tried it several years ago for back pain associated with lots of corrective back surgery and it did nada for the pain but I found that I felt better in general while taking it. It relieved some anxiety and gave me just a bit of a sense of well-being. This was during a time when I was barely functional w/anxiety/depression/bipolar stuff so I was grateful for anything that helped at all. Eventually, I discontinued it because I found much more focused treatment via my psychiatrist for all of this other stuff. Why was this med prescrbed for you? I'll be very interested in your response since I have several patients of my own who take this medication and not one of them has been able to articulate its effects precicely because they take other meds also for various reasons.
