has anyone takin prozac, need answers

I want to jnow will it help with anxiety too. Ive been off paxil for about 2 months and my anxiety is worse then when i got put on the med. My dr. Has given me prozac, but im afaird to take it thinking that it may cause me even more anxiety, but i know that i cant keep feeling like this everyday. I just want my life back. Thanjs for taking the time to read my post.

Lady, yes it can cause more anxiety as it's an "activating" ssri known for this but I use it and although it might make anxiety worse during the first few weeks it will begin to help. If this is a big concern of you ask about zoloft as it a little easier to start in this respect. Alankay
