I know now that depression can also bring on physical pain symptoms, but I'm beginning to wonder if I don't have more wrong with me than that. I'm in so much pain, I'm flat out miserable. Feet, hands, legs, arms, back. There is just no relief in sight. My family dr believes this to be caused by depression... But this is just getting out of hand. It hurts so bad, and I know I'm not supposed to drink alcohol on my meds, but I'm having a rough time not drinking to soothe the pain a bit.
Does anyone else diagnosed with major depressive disorder deal with such intense pain? Maybe I'm just a sissy?

As someone who has delt with depression for years, I sometimes feel pain and, at the same time, weakness in my legs when I feel emotionally drained, angry, and pessimistic.

I'm glad to say it's been over a year since feeling extremely depressed and physically drained and pained. Sometimes, however, I feel tension in my legs when I'm nervous about something. But it's not as bad as it used to be for me.

It is a big pain on oneself to spoil once life. At this the decision can be taken by talking with elders and other members of the family. Atlast having an idea you can have better thinking of your life.
