An old versatile, tried and true TCA used for depression, anxiety, insomnia and more. Usually a ssri/snri is tried first but trust the doc if he choose this med. Might give you dry mouth at first but otherwise should be fine. Alankay

It made me slee-eeeeeeeeee-py!

But, it worked! It sedated me just a touch, slowed my mind down just a touch. I became able to process things again.

I must warn you though, it's known to cause weight gain. It's sort of the trade off. I tried both this and Remeron. They helped more than any drug did, but I gained around 30lbs. I was lucky, as I was pretty athletic before, so most of it was like extra muscles, but I had to throw away all my clothes lol. It comes off easily when you stop :)

It's like Remeron for me - a frustrating med. It produces some great results, but you pay for those results. :)

Tried these but had to come off them. They sent me on the first crazy train to nutsville.
