Hello I am currently taking a 2mg Kolonopin and have taken 10mg Diazepam (finally got a doc that understands and is willing to try Kolonopin) but unlike the Diazepam it makes me sleepy, not Sedated, but tired, sleepy like what dramamine feeling is...the wierd thing the 2mg barely put a dent on the edge of my anxiety but sure will make me sleepy,,but still anxious, just curious, If and when I speak to my Doc any suggestions?.. I just plan on telling him I need something diffferent and maybe a tad stronger... just kinda brain farting here.. thx in advance

Well .5 mg clonazepam equals approx. 10 mgs of valium so maybe you need less but that would not explain why it doesn't reduce your anxiety more. Maybe the high potency group is not for you. This sleepiness may pass. Give it more time and consider ativan or clorazepate if the high potency groups(ativan and clonazepam are part of it) strikes out. Aalankay

The HW, telling your doctor specifically how these pills are affecting you is a good idea. The more detailed information your psychiatrist has to work with, the better.
