I am still having symptoms of an attack after two days. I have taken small amounts of klonopin but I am starting to think this wont go away. Someone help!

Are there environmental things you can do, such as put on soothing music, taking a bubble bath, or watching an (upbeat) movie? Generally, anxiety cannot sustain itself indefinitely, so if you can ride it out, when it starts to come down on its own, you can nurture yourself to keep from ratcheting up the anxiety again.

I keep getting ramped up on the thought of going home. I am at my moms house and using her klonopin. I try to put on soft music, close my eyes, and spend time to myself. It feels like everything is fine when thklpnopin is in my system, but when it leaves I feel tortured immediately. If I fall asleep, I wake up worse so I am afraid to sleep. I have to sleep with my mom or the cat to get any rest. My husband (the cause of the trigger) came here to stay with me tonight and so far with the klonopin a help I am staying reasonable. I just know this wont last forever. I need to know how to deal with this without drugs. I also need to return to work. Should I try to get an immediate appt with a therapist?

I think you should definitely try to get in with s therapist. But try not to stress about getting back to work . That will make it worse. Will work understand . ?

Yes. If that's available to you, you should definitely take advantage of that. Let them know that it's a crisis, so they can get you in pronto.

To help yourself in the meantime, you can go on YouTube and look at progressive relaxation. Don't worry about using the drugs right now. You are in crisis, and that's what it's for.

I will the next time I need it. Right now my base level is very anxious like I'm nearing an attack. I don't know how to make that go away.
