If you can see things in the dark then you have amazing eyesight (like a cat). Most people can't see anything in the dark!

As for the girl & name calling thing... how old are you may I ask?
This sounds more like a lack of self confidence than anything. Something most boys go through during adolescence... and sometimes way into their adult life.

Time to get brave and just dive in me old mucker!

Social Anxiety is common and pretty much what you describe. While a beta blocker like propranolol helps with tremor/shaking/racing heart an ssri might be helpful but it takes a while to work. By dwelling less on these things you become less anxious and that's what they do and how they work. Some prefer not to try meds, other will give them a trial. Alakay

Hang in there :) I understand your anxiety about talking to your dr. Last year I was getting meds from my primary dr and finally, after years of convincing myself I didn't need a therapist, broke down and found a psychiatrist. But making my 1st appt was difficult, they were suspicious of my changing dr's, thought I was just out to get drugs. I felt hopeless and wanted to give up. After a couple of days of worrying I got the nerve up to call them back and there hasn't been a problem since. If you need help all you have to do is ask. I know it's easier said than done but it really is true.
