Gettin off Lexapro!

Hi! I want to come off Lexapro so I can start a family.. I've been on it for years! I'm on 20 mil and my doc said to cut to 10 than to 5 and that's it... BUT I am terrified to come off of it because of he anxiety I might have and I've been reading up on it an people say that it has horrible withdrawal . Has anyone experience coming off med??

Yes, it was easy for me. Now paxil or sometimes effexor is harder from what I hear and hear. Lexapro.......not so much. Alankay

I didn't respond to Effexor at all and in Paxil 50 mg it was impossible to have an orgasm. Good luck!

I don't know if this will help or not, but a few months ago I saw on the news that some women are getting electroconvulsive therapy during pregnancy instead of pills to curb birth defects. Might be something to look into.
