Will xanax help me

So I've been suffering from anxiety for a couple of weeks now. I'm starting a new job this week ad I think that's causing most of my anxiety but my mind just won't stop. It's a fear of the unknown at my new job. I was prescribed a low dose of Xanax to take when I'm having a panic attack. Will this calm me down an help. Should I take it just to get through the next couple of days?

Yes it will help take the edge off. I take .25 as needed. How about keeping one in your pocket just in case you need it? Then take if you do . You might be relaxed just knowing you have it. Also tell yourself to give it a few more minutes you will see it gets no worse only your negative thoughts continue. Best of luck with the new job!

Thank you. I took .25 milligrams and I def feel more relaxed. A little tired but maybe that's just because I was having a lot of anxiety before I took the pill! But I definitely feel like I can handle things now?
