I was just prescribed neurontin to take 3 times a day. I took it for the first time last night. i am one of those people who cant stand the thought of taking meds however my anxiety has gotten so bad im already on zoloft and welbutrin. I feel terribly uncomfortable going on this 3rd seemingly powerful medication. Am i wrong to be feeling so skeptical? or do i need to let my dr. do his job and follow his directions. I just dont want to end up feeling like a zombie on neurontin. Anyone ever take it and have any thoughts on the drug for generalized anxiety? i almost feel guilty taking benzos (kinda like neurontin) because it feels "unnatural" (but effective).... am i wrong here or does anyone know how i feel?

Well for GAD it is approved for that over in Europe. I think if your anxiety is that bad you need to try this. It will likely work and you can stop it later if and when you get to feeling better. Or just take a little less or even just drop the wellbutrin in time if you really feel good. Just my thought on this. None of us "like" to take meds. :) PM me any time. Alankay
