Question?

Ok so I'm currently taking 5 mg of lexapro a day & wanting to up my dose to 10 mg.. I know this sounds stupid but I'm to scared to take a full 10 mg in one hit after my last experience.. Do u think I could take 5mg in the morning then another 5 mg in the afternoon?

Sure 5 mg AM and PM(splitting the dose) is done at times like this. Help minimize blood level peaks and lows but I think you should if lexapro has helped thus far. Even if it has not 10mg is a better dose as far dose/response goes and why 10 mg is the base dose. After a while you can just switch to 10mg AM or PM. PM me any time. Alankay
