Fluoxetine

So I have been to the doctors this evening and spoken about my anxiety, depression and OCD again and I have been told to stop taking Citalopram and in 3 days to start taking fluoxetine (if that's how it's spelt).. Has anybody else been on Fluoxetine?

That's what I'm on now babes. No change yet but the dr said it could take a couple of weeks to work. Just be careful because it can make you worse to begin with x

I was on it for 6 months and I got better but not sure if it was because of the drug or not lol

I'm a bit nervous to take it because I've been told that some people feel really suicidal taking it :/ hmmmm

I am going to be on 20mg xx

Cool. Let us know how you get on xx don't be nervous I think it's one of the most prescribed med for depression etc xx

I was on Fluoxetine for nigh on 7yrs. Didn't work at all for me. Doctors just kept increasing the dose. Started on 10mg when I was first diagnosed, worked my way up to 60mg.

At the moment I take 150mg of Clomipramine daily.
