I'd see a doc and ask about treatment via Beta blocker, ssri and/or a benzo as well as some counseling. Any other symptoms?

Wow i never thought id be needing all this stuff as i know what iv got is nowere near as bad as some of the posts in this forum mine just feels bad because its just not me being like this im usually so happy. If i could get this feeling in my throat away i think id be 90% in the way im feeling. I just thought there might of been an over the counter medicine for this sort of thing. The doctor said he does not think i need anything and i can do this with self help as im worrying about absolute NOTHING But i just feel like im gonna be sick when im out or talking to people. So if this could go then id be ok as i dont really have panick attacks unless this is one!!!!! And thanks for the replys

Go to a different doctor. Sounds like you do need some help and some doctors r just about numbers an dun really care about the individual patient.
I have been trying niacinamide and i must say its really helping me a lot and i would advise anyone suffering to try it as iv felt great for a few days now and been going out and less tense without worrying so something has happend to me to have a turn around like this. Thanks for the replys

Some days i can spend large chunks (no pun intended) feeling sick, just anxiety as it gets me, i just try and keep stress to a minimum and relax, deep down i know i wont be sick just got to control it, i did see a post the other day where some people would not be sick but still gag , perhaps do some research see what other peoples experience are, hope that helps

STE... Please look for an anxiety specialist (psychologist or psychiatrist) in your area. The social anxiety you are talking about is a common problem (sooo many of my clients deal with this) and there are highly effective treatments for this. The most common are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Therapy. The good news is that only a few sessions (usually 10-12) are required to experience major, long lasting reduction in symptoms. Hope you feel better soon.
