advice please

I have re written this because when I wrote it before I was anxious and it showed.

So, about 2 weeks ago I hurt myself at work and the doctor put me on a corticosteroid for inflammation, and apparently they make you anxious! I didn't realize that before I took them, and now I'm paying for it.

I am wondering if anyone has taken these and had the same problem, if so how long did it last? Even benzos which always work for me are doing nothing right now, I am just so tense and jumpy. How long is this going to last?

Any tips?

I guess the better question would be how long will this anxiety last since stopping the steroids? Anyone have any experience there?

I read about it and found that steroids do cause anxiety so I assume that must be the reason why I am so would up all of a sudden.
