So frustrated

So I took my first lexapro yesterday, felt sick tired And really not with it, it felt like I have a really bad chemical running thru my body, I am not going to take it again I still feel really blah, and just had a major panic attack it lasted about half an hour,,, I really need to sort this out once & for all.. Anti depressant medication is not for me...

If it's only your first you need to keep up with it... The effects could take days if not weeks. Keep it up, who knows it might make a huge difference!

Don't give up too soon! I felt horrible for a while and then boom! Felt, great and started living again. No more panic attacks and anxiety. Good luck hope you can sort it out!

I took Diazepam (valium) as and when needed.

Fantastic drug (for me anyway). Calming / soothnig / puts a smile on your face / makes you sleepy.
