scared :s

okay i'm having major left arm pain. its pretty severe. it's in the middle bit between my elbow and hand, the inner side. my wrist is also sore. no chest pain but a bit of shortness of breath.
should i be concerned? i've had this before but i'm worried that i keep brushing it off when it might be something serious?.. i've read about people having heart attacks that go undetected. help! :(
