Hit us hard here in NYC, flooding everywhere downtown, luckily uptown only saw high winds.

Lots of rain and wind here in Maryland, but we made it through the night with our power intact.

Hi Kelmar....welcome!!! We had some trees down around my area, but everything else appears to be intact.

Can't believe Michigan would see the effects of the hurricane but we did! 45 mph winds, rain and hail for the past 24 hours!

Yes we are pretty used to hurricanes. I was in the middle of hurricane Andrew which was a category 5, doesn't get much worse than that. Personally i'll take hurricanes over any other natural disaster. At least you know they are coming a good time in advanced.

Yeah, everything seems to be happening in places where it typically doesn't happen. I'm in Maryland, right outside of DC, and I experienced my first earthquake last year, very scary and unheard of in this area. Now, we just had to deal with a hurricane, again something we don't see much of in this area. Also, we are starting to get more harsh winters in this area with more snow, its definitely changing from when I first moved to this area.
