Hi I'm 37 years old, and have been dealing with anxiety since I was 19. I didn't know I had anxiety or what it really was until I was in my early 30's. over the years I have had a few major panic attacks which would lead to months of worries and agony, but I had lays pushed through it. I remember going to the ER with my first panic attack, but no real answers they just told me I was fine. I have learn that caffeine causes a lot of my anxiety, and caused a couple of panic attacks. I am a super anxious person to start with, and have a hard time slowing down or relaxing. So it's not very difficult to get to that level of anxiety for me hat will case me distress, so I have cut out caffeine from my diet which made my episodes a lot less. I just had my first panic attack 12 days ago in 5 years and it was after a night of little sleep, a few alcohol beverages and a 16oz coffee that wasn't decaf, because they were out if regular and I was really tired I didn't see the hurt. Big mistake! I am still trying to recover....
