Xanax and klonopin highest dose same time

If you need to take something and it's that bad, I take one and see if it will take the edge off. If it doesnt work in about 30 minutes, I take another one and it works like a charm but I am on the lowest dose of xanax - only .25mg doses

I have done that. But I found doubling up on either one a better alternative.

Reconsider some psychotherapy, adding an ssri as well as just using one benzo. Ask about dropping both benzos and going to ativan as the single benzo as the ssri will take time to help. A single benzo will help you understand/predict how it helps as opposed to 2 benzos where one is a long acter and another is a short/medium acter. Use one medium acter i.e. ativan(loazepam). A well known, potent benzo known to kill high anxiety/panic. However if this is a short term strategy by a psychiatrist, that's different and listen to him/her. PM me any time. alankay

Some people may have a condition that severe where that's what they need to be stable. I can't really judge. I took the highest dosage of clonazepam possible, even above that (prescribed), and then 1mg of xanax a night for sleep.

For some people it really is life or death. And at least in my condition, SSRI's just make me even worse and cause me to go manic. I avoid them like a plague. Prozac is the worst drug. ever.

Yes, rare cases need this or even a trial of a low dose anti psychotic for a period. Not often done at all. Alankay
