Hi everyone,
My first post here. I am a 32 year old fit female. I come across as being calm and in controll to others, which is why this diagnosis has suprised everyone including myself.
The last 5 months I have been unwell. I was reffered to a kidney specialist as I have low kidney function, and one kidney. After lots of blood tests for adrenal problems and CT scan the specialist I was referred to said, there is nothing physicaly wrong with you. Perhaps it is Anxiety.
My symptoms include:

Stage 1 hypertension
Fairly constant dizziness (like on a boat with everything tilting, to the stage I start walking sideways)
blurred vision
Racing heart
Short of breath
Constant need to go to the toilet
Pins and needles
chest pain
excercise intolerance
butterflies in stomach
trembling hands
Dream like feeling, especially in shopping centres. It feels as if I am walking through one of those comic flick books, with everything moving in fast choppy movements around me
I also find it very had to laugh about anything or cry these days, it's like I am on tranquilisers and all emotions have been taken away.

These symptoms seem to appear out of nowhere so can be sitting watching TV or at my desk and bang. I really have nothing to be stressed about these days. Although one year ago I moved countries and lived with my partners family whilst looking for a job and house, which was very stressful.

Does anywone else have anxiety that does not seem to be caused by anything in particular? Can you get it a long time ? Not sure where to go from here, any advice would be great!

Hello. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. From my personal.experience, sounds to me as if you are having anxiety, and panic attacks. This is how I started feeling back in 2000. I didn't know what was wrong with me,and neither did the doctors at first. I had to take 3 Weeks off from work. I too had the sensation that everything was moving, sort of things were bouncing up and down.I couldn't drive,go to the store, nothing but stay home, and get a ride to the doctors. I had that symptom, severe dizziness, constant headaches, chest pains, and shortness of breath. After a cat scan,EKG,tons of blood work. I was finally diagnosed with anxiety. I found that anxiety can gradually build itself up slowly, over time, one stressful situation ,then another, over and over again, your body just finally can't deal anymore, and blows its top.boom. Anxiety can hit hard, and its sooo awful. That's my experience, and opinion anyway. Hope you get treatment soon, and your feeling better. *hugs*

thanks rainyblue.
I have found the symptoms seem to be getting worse, but I can't say they are triggered by anything in particular, other then caffeine. I have become really sensitive to this, so decaf for me!! I used to be a two shot espresso coffee drinker with no problems!

Also some days are much worse then others.

Has anyone had any success with herbal supplements?

I am having these same symptoms and wondering if you were able to find any answers? The choppy vision is the worst for me.

Hello. I am new ti this site but the dizziness thst you are talking about I can totally relate. I am going through it now. It is terrible. I can't walk straight and no one understands how I feel. I hope you are doing better. I am at my wits end.

My doctor suggested OTC bonine. It's really for motion sickness but it help tremendously with the dizziness. I haven't tried any herbal supplements but I'd love to know if anyone had some success

Anxiety and the mind are POWERFUL. I struggle with a lot of what you describe and can relate. I have no advice at this time because I am so new to the site, but I offer HUGS!!!! :)
