Feel so bad

Ok so.. I work in a hardware store, there's only 3 of us that work here and today was my bosses day to go home early so that left me in charge basically. I saw a lad put something in his pocket so I confronted him (which takes a lot of courage for me) and he said he didn't have anything and allowed me to feel in his pockets and I couldn't feel anything which immediately made me doubt myself and let him go and now I feel so bad for not doing more to get the item back, infact I can't stop crying now and I'm really scared because when my boss finds out what happened he is going to shout at me :'( I can't even think straight now

Stop stressing yourself out.. Even if he finds out.. So what. We been going through a more difficult time and try to think this is nothing.. I used to be like you, worrying about every small little thing.. And wen i think abt it i feel so stupid.. Relax honey xoxo
