I was lecturing when a knife-wielding terrorist entered and terrorized and threatened the entire room for about an hour, walking around and threatening everyone individually. In the end, he didn't hurt anyone but it was terrifying. I have learned some martial arts and self-defence (many years ago) but none of it came to mind at the time. I worry this might make me more anxious in tonight's lecture!
