It's SEX FLUSH, lol

When thinking about sex or something sexually arousing, our faces tend to flush with blood... which in turns turns up the heat.

More common in women than men.

(Oh... it could also be anxiety of course)

Yeah, true... could be booze, lol. Again... affects women folk more than men.

If you drink lots of wine & ALSO think about sex - the combined results could be devasting. You could self combust right there on your sofa...

Yep, so if you're an alcy, smoke 60 fags a day and have the sexual capacity of a rutting rhino... you're likely to cause an explosion big enough to wipe out your entire house & contents thereof.

This is precisely why buildings + contents insurance for smoking, drinking, single women is SO high.

Joking aside. I sometimes get this. The other week I had it only on one side of my face. Freaked me out a bit!

When it happens I constantly touch my face to check if it's cooled down yet or if it feels funny which obvs won't make it any better! lol

I blush a lot anyway cos I'm always feeling embarrassed!

Yeah my face wasn't really red at all, it just felt hot. It was like I had a furnace blowing on my face. It freaked me out becuase I've never had anything happen to me like that before

My left side of the face is hot every morning and is red too and it bothered me a lot but I don't care anymore. When I was younger I used to blush a lot too but that stops too at a certain age....
I just don't think the hot side of my face has anything to do with anxiety. I have always had very red cheeks and get red (still) as soon as I drink red wine or it is very hot in the room.
Anxiety gives a lot of symptoms but I doubt very much that this is one of them. I could of course be wrong.
