Low dose Xanax (only when really needed) and taking long walks with the dog and escaping the house for awhile. If not for those I would've lost my mind. My physical symptoms were far worse than mental actually. Numbness in hands and feet, dizziness, shaking hands, headaches, muscle twitches, (not visible to other people thankfully!) and on and on. The most rediculous feeling ever is all this stuff going on before you even know its anxiety... And then feeling so stupid when you wasted thousands of dollars in the ER convinced you had heart disease or MS, or some other crazy shit... Anyways, pardon my language and book writing skills, new here. But yeah, hi :) hope you find some ways to feel better soon, I feel your pain :/

I would talk to your doctor of course (and if you don't have one, your area should have a family clinic of some kind that can refer you to one) but for me, yes. I'm not prescribed it, so I should not be giving advice, but since I am, screw it lol. It's the only thing that makes me feel normal and totally fine but it's a trade off. Effective but the danger of being addicted and facing possible withdrawal makes me hate them. I personally am very careful with them and am deathly afraid of getting hooked, but if used right and short term they can be very good. Didn't want to just say yes without giving warning about how scary they can be. Your doc would know best :)
