just been prescribed ativan, does anyone have any thoughts about the drug?

I love it!! About 20 mins after I take it I am completely normal feeling. I couldn't panic even if I thought about stuff I usually panic over. But I read it is highly addictive and only to be used on an as needed basis. For me personally I got really sleepy about 45 mins to an hour after taking it and had to go to sleep. But the sleep is real weird like even a little tiny noise would wake me but all in all its great!

My favorite for high anxiety/panic. Just use it only when you really need it as with any benzo. A very good med. for anxiety. If it makes you drowsy, take a smaller dose. Alankay
