Hey all!! I need some help. Anyone else taking prozac for anxiety/panic??? I took it in the past and did well on it and this time really struggling. Ive been on 10mg for 2 weeks and feel all over the place. Can anyone else offer some support or advice with their experience on prozac?

Yes, same here. But after a point things turn around and you start to feel better. I started prozac in 1992 and was on it until 2010(did well all along) and thought a newer ssri might be better so tried zoloft, celexa and Lexapro but none we as good with no side effects as prozac 20mg/day. Hang in there and if it stays hard, ask for a small rx of a long acting benzo like valium/klonopin/clorazepate until the prozac kicks in. Just use the benzo on hard days. I prefer prozac over all else but that varies by patient. PM me any time. Alankay
