I ALWAYS need air flow or I start to feel really claustrophobic and like I can't breathe. I have to have air on in the car at all times. This has been a problem for as long as I can remember. I get really uncomfortable and panicky in places without enough air...the city bus, airplanes, elevators. I am hoping this will go away, as I have recently been prescribed meds...what do you think?

A feeling like you're not getting enough air is something that anxiety can bring on by itself.
Give the meds a chance to work, and see if they help.
In the meantime, remember that you're not really going to smother, and that the only real problem here is that you have anxiety.
