I'm having a hard time switching from Xanax to klonopin. Klonopin is leaving me with extremely thick almost sticky saliva. Has anyone ever had this problem? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I've been taking Ativan and Prozac since March but today was switched over to Klonopin instead of the Ativan. I've only taken 1 pill so far but no side effects yet other than being a little drowsy. I can definitely feel/see a difference though between Ativan and Klonopin... Weird that it's making your saliva like that..

what mg. just curious.....just know klonopin gave me horrible rebound anxiety..and if your taking a benzo and it makes you feel sedated, in my opinion the amount of "benzo" you take should not sedate you..it should cut the edge off a bit but nooo drowsyness ..might need to lower the mg...just a opinion

If it makes you drowsy, the dose was a bit high. That's how I gauge my dose of any benzo. Alankay

I take 3 2 mg tablets of Xanax a day this has been the only thing that has helped my anxiety from turning into a panic attack. My mouth would get all yuck too, I'm glad I got off of Klonopin

Yesterday it made me drowsy but today I've taken 2 more separate doses and there hasn't been any drowsiness. BUT on the pill bottle it does say that it can cause drowsiness.. I'm only at .5 mg of it anyway and am doing great...
