Paxil anyone?

I went to the doctor today, he gave me Paxil, Ive taken this before about 5 years ago, I was fine, I dont know why im nervous to start taking it again, maybe its because now a days im nervous about everything, Paxil is an SSRI, its generally safe, anyone else take this medication?

Im afraid that it may cause me some serious health problem that I didnt have before. So last night I took the pill and then had a panic attack for like 2 hours!! I know its all in my head.

What kind of problems? And who told you to take Paxil at night? People usually take it in the morning so that it does not interfere with sleeping.

Yeah I used to take Paxil in the morning. It gave me a nice pick up when I was having depression. But talk to your doctor about your symptoms.

Paxil was a nightmare for me. You can be for it or against it and some people in my family are fine on it but for me it was hell. I'm finally off and on Citalopram and feeling a LOT better.
