Was doing ok with anxiety. Now I am catching a cold. Does being sick make it worse? I have had anxiety and panic since Feb but haven't had a cold yet.

Interesting... I've had a/d since last December but also have not had a cold since. Spooooky!

Before a/d I'd get a really bad cold at least every 4 months.

Probably the lifestyle changes which were meant to help anxiety.

But... yes... the anxiety monster loves aches, pains, twitches, twinges & other ailments.
Suffering of any kind feeds anxiety... incl. the common cold.

That is a little spooky! I haven't had a cold since my anxiety started either! Strange... Even now I'm fighting off pretty good. Must be all the vitamins I take and good food I eat now.

How weird I'm the same way I have a cold / allergies and I feel my anxiety kicks up a notch with the overthinking

I feel less anxious sometimes when I am sick because I know I have no looming responsibilities hanging over my head - it can all wait because I'm sick!

When I get sick, my anxiety gears up full force. I also get it when my son is sick. It's no good!
