Feel so stupid posting this here but its worth a try seeing as google is useless!
Please pay attention to the details!!
My mum cooked chicken breasts for near enough an hour in the oven. Being the food freak i am when my mum gave it to me i cut into it.
It was OPAQUE WHITE, BEARLY PINK TONE THROUGHOUT! Its was VERY PALE PINK!! BARELY EVEN NOTICEABLE!!!
Googling i have read people saying to go get my stomach pumped, I'm going to die some people are saying I'm fine! I even read something that chicken near the joint is more pink!
So confused! Please can someone put my mind at rest, getting panicky!!

perfectly normal. the chicken is fine.. what temp was it baked at?

I get this my husbsnd takes the piss out of me, i dont really eat any other meat bar chicken yet its the one i most panic about eating!!! If its been cooked for an hour its cooked it is normal to be very pale pink inside!

My mum said it was cooked for 45 mins and I'm assuming 180*C or higher :S

Same here!! I hate all other meats but i love chicken, though i get really panicky after i have eaten it!
My boyfriend is a chef and his mother is a nurse and said it would be fine!
Apparently its rare to get food poisoning from chicken...obviously I'm not going to start eating it raw, haha!

I shall keep you updated on how i feel :)
