Well a little history on me. I guess the reason Ive waited so long to get some help for my symptoms is cause I also have Crohn's disease. And some of the major anxiety symptoms have been chalked up to just a sensitive gi system.
When my blood work came back from before my last Remicade treatment and was told that everything was fine and I was responding nicely to the treatment still after almost 5 years. So I was convinced that maybe I need to go see another doctor who will look at my symptoms from another perspective other than 'you have a pre-existing condition that explains 75% of your "symptoms"'
Symptoms include-
Upset stomach/diarrhea
Nausea
Dizziness
Fuzzy vision
Off balance(even when laying down)
Overwhelming thoughts and worry
And sharp intense radiating pains from middle back around to belly area that last for up to 10 min.
My questions are what should I be asking my doctor? And do I NEED to see a psychiatrist?

I started out my anxiety with severe stomach symtpoms, and ended up having all the tests for Chrones and colitis. But so far they think its just Ibs caused by stress and anxiety. I also have not seeked medical advice about my anxiety, because I was almost convinced for a while that I had Chrones. I mean my grandad had it, so I immedietly clung onto this idea. But its been several years, and now im at the stage where I need to seek help about anxiety.
As for what to ask your doctor, maybe just state your concerns about how the diagnosis has sort of caused other problems to be pushed aside.
