new member with genetic anxiety disorder

Hi all, I am glad to have found this forum. I'm a 37 year old married, childfree woman. I have had problems with anxiety for most of my life, but after my mother died prematurely from cancer 9 years ago I developed a full-blown anxiety disorder, which was diagnosed by a therapist who I went to because my symptoms were interfering with my daily life. We determined that my anxiety is both nature and nurture- a little bit genetic and a little bit because of childhood traumas here and there. I went on medication for about a year and a half, then went off of it because I felt I could handle my anxiety holistically and didn't want to have to reply on medication every day. Now, over the course of about 4 years since I've been off the medication, things have started to heat up again and in desperation this week I just started taking Ativan again which has really helped a lot. I'm going to start seeing a therapist again (hopefully the same one as before) and discuss a more long-term solution.

Question: does anyone know what happened to depressionforums.org? I had joined there not long ago and was just getting involved with the community there, then went to log in today and the site doesn't seem to exist anymore!
