Does age play any role in anxiety?
Is it worse in younger people or older people or does it just not matter?
Can axiety run in familes at all or is it just developed?

I had started a thread called "Who am I, What am I, and Why am I here?" in page 5 of the general discussions. It tells you where my history with this began..a very long time ago.

Anxiety disorder can develop at any age but from my own research I believe that young people are more at risk.

By definition, anxiety disorder is a head full of fears + worries that have accumulated and taken over.

If you consider the pressures of society on the young these days... job / look good / money / education / accomodation, etc. then it's pretty obvious
that this is quite a potent mixture of anxieties and is likely to take its toll.

The older, however, are more likely to be settled and the pressures not so great in all aspects.

Anxiety isn't a virus so it can't physically be passed on... however, a child with anxious parents is HIGHLY likely to develop the same through
trait / personality inheritance.
