Help!!!!

I don't understand why I am still having panic and anxiety attacks while I am on 20mg of celexa. Today is bad nervous, scared and a feeling like I am going to die any second and my heart is fluttering so bad. Do I need a benzo?

I've sent you EVERYTHING that you would possibly need to get this under control. Had you at an Endo to get you off that stupid (psychoactive aldomet BP med) which he did, and he gave you a (beta-blocker) as we requested to slow the heart and BLOCK THE ADRENALINE DUMP, but you havent TAKEN THEM YET I'm guessing so you're still freakin out, and you upped the (celexa) as yer PCP said but didnt STOP taking the (aldinosaurmet psychoactive chemical that messes with your NERVOUS SYSTEMS and ADRENAL GLANDS) and you're afraid to take 1, .25mg (xanax) because you think the instant you take it you're going to look like a junkie laying in an alley...WHICH YOU'RE NOT! SO>>>>>.........:)

After getting you EVERYTHING you could possibly need to feel SPECTACULAR CAT EYES..you still havent done anything that was arranged for you....Its ALL right there in front of you MEOW! CMON!!! OMGAWD!!!!!

I have anxiety since February and in celexa since may.

celexa usually take ...1 month to act but if its not working ...visit to a doctor then he might put you on benzo/celexa combination ....

Yes he told me to take celexa and Xanax but I am too afraid

Cat eyes, I would check back with your doctor. Sounds like he/she has you on a mixed cocktail of medications. Don't be shy! That's why they get paid the big bucks- it's also important to check because one of the side effects of these medications is feeling more anxious and/or depressed. If that's the case, let them know right now. You are your biggest advocate- ask, ask, ask.

Thing I have found with anxiety is that if you don't get to the root of the problem, educate yourself on anxiety and learn coping mechanisms then the meds are irrelevant. They may help a bit and mask some symptoms but talking therapies have been my saviour. Unfortunately there is no miracle pill and getting over anxiety takes hard work. Although if your meds are not doing anything then it's time to up the dosage or switch. When I was very bad I found that 40mg of citalopram and 80mg or beta blockers helped me get to a point where i could properly focus on getting better.
