Sure. It takes time to build in your system so will take time to to reach steady state in your body so be patient. It can be activating and make you nervous but maybe not. Some get drowsy on it too. These side effects will subside. I am on it now and prefer it as I sleep well on it and my appetite does not go up. It is cheap in generic. Although it is an older ssri it is still very commonly precribed. If you miss a dose no problem. With its superlong half life you can skip a day with no effects. Good luck. Alankay

cheers my pal has been on it for years.and it completly cleared up her ocd.she said the same.i will feel worse before i feel better.i just hope this one works

Yes I am on Fluoxetine 20 mg and I still hv anxiety during day pretty bad..I am little more irritable and I do get sleepy during day. I hv been on for 2 months and wanting any feedback about less side affects
