i have been on setraline for about 12 weeks now.and i dont feel its helping.my ocd is not any better.i now clench my teeth constanlty.and my anxiety is still there.i know pills dont take it all away.do i change or stick with it

150 mg.i went back down to 100,but did not stop the side effects

Don't ask us, ask your psychiatrist. Tell them how you feel and see if there is an alternative they think would work.

i would be better asking the doctor.and i just wanted to know if other people had changed med.cos of the same reason

I think the very rough random estimate I heard is that specific antidepressants don't work for 1/3rd of people that try them. Could be totally random, but it's true that it often takes people a few drugs to find one that really works. Our bodies are all different so something that works great on one person may have no effect on another.
Has it helped at all? Sounds like it may be helping a little more, but you may be able to get better relief with another drug. I'd just lay it all out for your psychiatrist and see what they think.

After that long on that dose, I'd ask about changing. You gave it a long and fair trial at a good dose. Alankay

I too am on sertraline, what are the side effects you've been having? Do you feel they've had any effect at all?

i cant stop grinding my teeth.and i yawn a lot.and i have really loose stools(sorry).i thought it was helping a bit but its still there.im due to go back to work next week.and i can feel the anxiety creeping back.i know tablets are not a miricle cure.but i thought they would at least take the edge of it
