I've been in panic mode for a few days now. I've been feeling dizzy and faint feeling. I get this rumbling feeling in my ear like my ears are vibrating on the inside and when it happens I get even more anxious. My neck is usually tense and I thought maybe that could cause it. It usually only happens in one ear but when I get anxious about it it's both. I've been googling things , which are always the death of me. I was just wondering, can a low rumbling vibrating feeling and noise be caused by anxiety? I've had a lot of blood work the past 6 months , and lots more I'm just very worried! I check my blood pressure and temperature a lot and it's always fine. I just need some reassurance. :(

I have had this so bad I called 911 at my job last Tuesday. I was told I had vertigo. Which in my opinion is a term for dizziness with no real explanation. An I just call it anxiety. When I went to the er I even had an ekg. Chest xray. And massive blood work. All over spinning dizziness an slight chest pain. I have noticed a lot of people saying they are dizzy lately even people who never have anxiety and I seriously think air pressure can cause these symptoms as well. Try an focus on positives. An just know your not alone. All of US are here with you pretty much going through the exact same thing. If test say its nothing have trust and faith that it is truly that.. nothing

I'm glad I'm not alone. It's just scary because my ear feels so weird. The whole side of my head has a weird feeling , and rumbling vibrating sensation in my ear. Its crazy what anxiety can do to us!

Have you been checked for an inner ear infection? Those can be a pain in the bum I mean the ear popping an dizziness associated with those sends me into full blown panic. And I've had them a lot. But seriously the air pressure is where I always go when I'm panicked because its a natural cause . An I actually hear other saying they feel off like I said its people who never had a problem with anxiety. If your anywhere by me you can clearly tell its muggy. For crying out loud today is suppose to be up to heat index 110.

wouldn't I have a fever and pain? I've had them before but they've never been a problem & it's supposed to feel like 103-110 here today.

Also vertigo is a common inner ear issue that causes all those symptoms

I had this terrible ringing in my ear once...

Ringing... ringing... ringing...

Strangely, it went away when I picked up the phone :-D

(Sorry, couldn't help it)

I get this!!! Everyone I explain it to, doesn't understand what I'm talking about! I do get tinnitus, but this is horrible, it's like you say rumbling/vibrating inside the ear... I get it after being in a car and when I lay down... especially in the morning! The ENT was even a bit confused over this! So guess if an ear specialist doesn't know... who does!! Do you still get this by the way, as I see your post is almost a year ago?...

My ears still get that feeling

Like someone is trying to give them both a wet willie at the same time

Much like every other of my physical symptoms, I just belly breathe and it quickly goes away

The ringing in ears have been a nightmare along with popping and strange noises in my head too. I never had this symptom until few months ago but apparently it is anxiety! I also have very stiff neck and was told by chiropractor that muscles can cause those noises in the ears too. Dunno :/

I have a hard time believing a doctor but if a chiropractor told me anything, I would start laughing at him, then kick him in the shins, then run away giggling like a schoolgirl.;)
