sertraline dossage!!

Been on 50mg of sertraline for 8 days an docs thinks I should put it up to 100mg. Im terrifed to do so just wondered what dose others are on?

50mg is the base dose. But it takes more than 8 days to get full effects so if you are OK hold but if still in a bad way go to 100mg. These all take time to work fully and you may need help with side effects which will pass. Alankay.

To be honest I feel exactly same as before I started with few side effects being dry mouth, jaw clenching, shaking an anxiety bein no better. Not wantin to worsen side effects if I up it but maybe I need to, to get full benefit. Unsure...

i went from 50 to 100.and got a bit of the jaw clenching.and no much of an appitite but that was it.my doc then upped it to 150.and i started grinding my teeth.to which i eneed up with a sore face.lol.she pput me back down to 100.and the grinding has nearly stopped.but i have decided to up again to 150.cos im still getting anxious and my ocd is going mad again.i am hoping the teeth grinding does no come back.lol

and it took a good 2 weeks before you will feel it working

Really worried about how dizzy it makes me feel, I take it at night so in morning I feel my insides are shaking real bad an horribly dizzy! Has anyone else experienced this?

Sometimes the antidepressant s will give you anxiety. There are others out there in the ssame class. Maybe you could ask for a different one. I take paxil 20 mg. Ok with it. I did have anxiety when upping it so I went back down because I am anxiety ridden .

Tried citalopram that was no good, so the sertraline was next. I uped the doze last nite to 100mg as doc requested but just goin to take the 50mg. I feel so scared this morning, my dizzy and blured vision is really worrying me!! Jumped back into bed and really really hope it passes soon :(

i never had that.you need to speak to the doc.as thats not right
